Half long Aubergine type Black Gem F1

Black Gem is more generative than Black Pearl and is therefore stronger against botrytis. Fruits are similar sized as Black Pearl and larger than Bartok. Fruits are firm, very uniform and have a spineless calyx. Black Gem is being introduced in the long-cycle high-tech greenhouse cultivation (2013). In high tech crops, the use of tomato rootstock is advised.
